Event Description: Lecture presented by Mike Newlon, NJA Associate Naturalist South Africa has an impressive variety of habitats, mammals large and small, birds, and butterflies. Mike visited South Africa photographing in Cape Province and in and around Kruger National Park. Kruger NP boasts over 500 species of birds, and all of Africa's iconic safari species, including the once nearly extinct White Rhinoceros. Mike is a retired microbiologist who spends much of his time pursuing birds and butterflies with his camera. When Saturday, April 8, 2017. (1:00pm to 2:30pm.)
