Event Description: Have you ever wished you were able to capture better portraits of your family and friends? If so, we have just the solution! Life in Pixels will be holding regular workshops to help non-professional photographers learn how to take better pictures. Each workshop will be focused on a specific aspect of photography and will last between two and three hours. Some of our workshops will be for those who know nothing about using a DSLR camera, while other workshops will be more advanced. We will also be holding workshops on occasion designed towards children who express an interest in learning more about photography. Our first workshop will take place August 13th, at 5pm. The location will be determined based on where the majority of attendees are located, so as to make it convenient for everyone. This workshop will be covering the very basics of DSLR photography, including the different modes of your camera, as well as the importance of shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. We will be limiting the number of attendees to 10 people so that we can provide each person with the attention they deserve. If we receive interest from more people, we do have additional instructors we can bring in order to accommodate a larger group. The only requirement is a desire to learn and a DSLR camera. The cost of the workshop is $50, and must be paid at the time of registration.
